Stunning views towards the Gulf of Naples and the Islands Ischia and Procida are enjoyed from its gardens. The property boasts water cisterns from the period dating back to Emperors Augustus and Tiberius.  The area where the villa is located once gave water to the entire district of Capri town. The hillside is full of wells – the antique Roman water courses brought water as far as Villa Jovis, Emperor Tiberius’ marvellous Palace.  

Description: 
Villa Loredana came into its current owner’s family in the late 19th century.  It owners’ elegance and exclusivity make it the most desirably rented property on the island of Capri.  
Very large for an island villa, it offers 5 bedrooms all beautifully furnished with simple antiques and large reception rooms on the ground floor.  Cool marble and old hand-made tiles on the floors, vaulted ceilings, and private balconies give the interiors of the villa a timeless feel.  Elegantly furnished with antique furniture and the reception rooms lead onto shady marble terraces, with tables ready for al fresco dining and comfortable sofas for relaxing.  
The villa is on two floors. On the first floor, a large sitting room,  a big drawing room with old objects and famous paintings, a guest’s bathroom. A big kitchen with refrigerator, n.5 fires to cook, a oven. On the second floor,  n.5 bedrooms with n.3 bathrooms. 

The garden:
The park leads you up a hill, covering an area of 7 hectares, and a driveway formed from an ancient Roman chariot path. The landscape of this magic garden was created in 1894 and is characterized by shady pine trees, roses, grape vines, olive terraces, columns, and even a neo-Greek temple.  
It’s the largest garden in Capri town and has a spectacularly Italian layout totally in a Rinascimento style.  
Perfumes of a wonderful lemon pergola bring you towards a large irregular shaped pool, surrounded by palm and pine trees.  A true ruin, a Napoleonic fort, is located at the top and boasts a 360 degree panorama of the whole island and the glorious views of the Bay of Naples and the Vesuvius. A large swimming pool of size 10 x 4 meters. Two wonderful terraces are also ideal for organizing a parties, events, and weddings.

The villa is reachable in 7 minute walk from the main square of Capri.
