Nestled within lush vegetation and surrounded by breathtakingly beautiful rolling hills, Villa Botticelli offers the ideal hideaway for individuals searching for total seclusion and unadulterated leisure in the heart of Tuscany. With 20 bedrooms (17 double bedrooms and 2 single rooms) distributed across several structures, Villa Botticelli can accommodate up to 37 people. It is surrounded by rolling green hills lined with cypresses and enveloped by 30 acres of vineyards, olive groves, a forest, and a lake. Three more people can sleep in the villa in three additional single beds.The Ghirlandaio's, the most well-known Renaissance family of painters, owned the hamlet in the fifteenth century. It was in their workshop that Michelangelo and many other apprentices learnt the beautiful art of painting. Being their summer home, the hamlet served as both a gathering spot for the family and a place to unwind. It also served as a venue for entertaining relationships with some of the most well-known Renaissance artists, including Raffaello, Pontormo, and Botticelli. The property features a chapel with frescoes by Ridolfo Ghirlandaio inside its walls.With 20 bedrooms (17 double bedrooms and 2 single rooms), the villa can sleep 37 people. However, some bedrooms can accommodate up to three more beds upon request. King-size beds, plush linens, chic marble bathrooms with a rain shower or a bathtub, walk-in wardrobes, and safe boxes are features shared by all the guestrooms. The Main Villa, the Farmhouse, the Old Shop, the Olive Press, the Olive Press' Dépendance, the Studio, and the Limonaia are the buildings on the estate that house the lodgings.The home, which is surrounded by undulating hills, has two stunning swimming pools and a large poolside area with cozy sun loungers that invite visitors to relax. This amazing spot by the poolside is the ideal spot to unwind with a nice book and a drink of prosecco because it offers a tranquil ambiance. For an additional fee, the largest pool can be heated upon request. The property also has a restaurant with a vegetable garden and a spa center. The wellness section includes a fully-stocked gym, a sauna, an emotional shower for relaxation techniques, a hydropool, a Turkish bath, a massage room, and more.The Main Villa:The family used to reside in the main villa and had formal gatherings there in the fifteenth century. There are five double bedrooms with king-size beds and private bathrooms, one of which is located on the second floor and offers a panoramic view. There are two living areas, a dining room, and a contemporary kitchen on the ground level. The first of the five bedrooms is similarly located on the ground floor. There are three double bedrooms on the first level. The final bedroom is located on the second floor. There's a bathtub in one of the five en suite bathrooms.The Farmhouse:This lovely ancient building, as its name suggests, served as the estate's agricultural hub. Currently, the first floor has three double bedrooms and one single room, while the ground floor has a fully furnished kitchen, dining area, living room, and guest bathroom. All of the rooms have private bathrooms. The farmhouse complex includes the well-known chapel that features frescoes by Ridolfo Ghirlandaio.The Old Shop:Originally used by the Ghirlandaio family to display their artwork, this magnificent exposition space is now a charming guest house. All of the accommodations are on one floor, and include two double bedrooms with king-size beds and en suite bathrooms (one with a bathtub and the other with a shower), a large living/dining space, a contemporary kitchen, and a guest bathroom. The bedrooms are only reached by four steps.The Olive Press:This quaint edifice used to press vast amounts of the renowned DOP extra virgin olive oils from the Ghirlandaio estate, as its name suggests. Currently, it has three bedrooms: a double bedroom with a bathroom on its own and a double bedroom with a shared bathroom with a single room. First floor bedrooms are all placed there. There is a lovely living room, dining room, kitchen, and another bathroom on the ground level. Please be aware that the kitchen just has a refrigerator, microwave, and ice maker and is not completely furnished.The Dependency of Olive Press:The Olive Press's dépendance is around 20 square meters in size and has a double bedroom with an attached bathroom. Accommodations are entirely on one floor.The Studio:Since many painters practiced there, the studio was arguably the most significant structure on the estate. This structure has a ground floor kitchen and additional bathroom, as well as an open-concept living and dining area. There is a shared bathroom between the single room and the double bedroom on the first floor. Two double bedrooms with en suite bathrooms are located on the second floor.The Limonaia:The Limonaia offers one-story lodging with a sitting area and a double bedroom with an en suite bathroom.
