The origins of this elegant villa in Tuscany for rent steeped in history, built on the ancient Via Francigena connecting France to Rome, its origins date back to the early years of the 13th century when a powerful Longobard clan from the Elsa Valley – the Conti Alberti – chose this hill as the site for their castle, later converted into the elegant and luxury rent villa you can see today.
Traces of the original 13th-century fort are still discernible in the square brick tower and the walls alongside this luxury rent villa.


Ground floor:
The front door gives onto a large, cosy living room with fireplace. On the left, a beautiful marble staircase connects to the first floor. From the living room a corridor provides access to the rest of the house.
The spacious and fully equipped kitchen, on the right, has terracotta flooring and beamed ceilings. Along the corridor, beyond a guest bathroom, there is a sumptuous dining room with French windows that access the courtyard.
Further on, the living room with fireplace has a reading room alcove with TV. To the right, a double bedroom has an ensuite bathroom with a jacuzzi bath.

First floor:
At the top of the marble staircase, a long corridor leads to the bedrooms. On the right there is a double bedroom – again with ensuite bathroom with shower and jacuzzi bath.
