Villa Ortensia is a luxury property on Lake Como surrounded by a large park with centuries-old trees, swimming pool, shaded areas and solarium, and enjoys a private waterfront of 200 meters.
The villa has a long and illustrious history, starting from the eighteenth century, when it was dedicated to the breeding of silkworms, until today passing through four generations of a noble local family, who lovingly created the luxurious holiday villa it has become today.

Villa Ortensia can accommodate up to 16 people in eight sumptuous air-conditioned double bedrooms on the first floor, each with a luxurious private bathroom. Three of these are double rooms and one is the majestic honeymoon suite. The honeymoon suite has a gorgeous bedroom, a luxurious bathroom and a large living room, all with stunning views of Lake Como. On the first floor we also find a living room, a study and a splendid panoramic terrace for those who during their vacation holidays prefer eating Al Fresco.
The three floors of the villa are connected by a modern lift and a beautiful old stone staircase for the most romantic guests.

The ground floor houses a stunning 200m2 ballroom and with the waters of Lake Como just eight meters away, this large room is an ideal venue for weddings and other elegant special events. The sober beauty of the ballroom and its frescoed ceilings, Venetian terrazzo floors, 18th century marble fireplace, crystal chandeliers and priceless family heirlooms complete the exquisite decor. There is also a professional-grade kitchen, laundry room and two extra bathrooms on the ground floor.

The top floor allows for pleasure and relaxation. You will find a large games room with billiards and game table, a fully equipped gym, a sauna with bathroom with shower and an herbal tea corner.

The immaculate land stretches for ten hectares and is home to a botanical garden, an avenue of roses, a rock garden, a vineyard, olive groves and orchards. The black bamboo and palm trees were planted by the owners in the early 1900s. Let's not forget the splendid swimming pool with equipped poolside area to complete the experience of Villa Ortensia.
